Welcome in the Zombitse-Ecolodge at the Zombitse National Park!

A beautiful site is growing with its bungalows being built in traditionel style. All constructions are realized respecting strictly environment, landscape and nature. Basic facilities on the premises of the Zombitse-Ecolodge are already in place and we will be ready for friends in August 2006. The official opening is planned for July 2007.

Zombitse-Ecolodge is located in immediate vicinity to the Zombitse National Parks with a forest unique in the world. Only here you can find plants typical for the tropical rain forests in the east together with plants characteristic of the dry regions in the south-west of Madagascar forming one eco-system. Zombitse is a tropical dry forest emerging from the middle of an endless savanne.

At the Zombitse-Ecolodge you are invited to discover a unique world of plants and animals and to stay in comfortable, environmental friendly bungalows in a pleasant atmosphere. To contact us, please press here.
